Every day you will find Toby with a pencil in his hand, creating the people that populate the worlds that he has conjured. Here is one of his latest drawings.

I don’t have pictures from Margary’s birthday celebration, because it hasn’t happened yet. I am about to go frost her chocolate-cupcake-in-an-ice-cream-cone birthday cake in preparation, so this has to be quick. Here are a couple pictures from Isaac’s birthday party. Isn’t she getting big? Doesn’t she make the cutest skeleton ever?

wasn’t living with my son. I am all for encouraging timid learners to ask questions, even if they are feeling silly for not already knowing the answer. But when my son asked me this morning:
“Uh, mom, if you were swimming in whipped cream with too much sugar in it, and it was about to turn into cheese, and you were wearing floaty lemon proof jeans, would you sink?”, I had to reply “I don’t know, but that is the stupidest question I’ve ever heard.”

If you happen to know the answer, let me know, and I’ll tell him. BTW, bonus points if you can guess which son this was…
